ATEC Launches PTP Corpectomy System

The PTP corpectomy system addresses deformity and corpectomy procedures for complex pathologies of the thoracolumbar spine.

Alphatec (ATEC) has launched its Prone TransPsoas (PTP) corpectomy system, expanding its capabilities to include deformity and corpectomy procedures for complex pathologies of the thoracolumbar spine.

The PTP corpectomy solution includes the Sigma LIF corpectomy access system, Ascend NanoTec vertebral body replacement (VBR) system, and SafeOp Neural Informatix system.

Sigma LIF was designed to optimize lateral corpectomy exposure of the thoracolumbar spine. It provides retractor visibility and customized exposure in both prone (PTP) and lateral decubitus (LTP) surgical approaches.

Ascend NanoTec is an anatomy-driven, expandable design that supports a variety of surgical approaches. Its surface treatment technology is meant to enhance bone growth.

The SafeOp 3 system offers objective, actionable information via minimally disruptive motor evoked potentials (MEPs). It also features minimally disruptive motor evoked potentials (MEPs), surgeon-directed Delta tEMG for single-position lumbar plexus localization, and real-time femoral nerve health monitoring with automated SSEPs.
